Educational Care for Toddlers

The toddler areas at Wee Friends Child Care Center are busy little worlds full of new friends and opportunities. Your child will find a wonderful array of interesting materials that stimulate his or her tactile senses, encourage sensory exploration, expand the imagination, and build a sense of rhythm.

Sensory exploration — noodles, flour, water, tissue, and wrapping papers, and other interesting materials
Dramatic play — puppets, dress-up, kitchen supplies, babies and blankets, stuffed animals, and many other fun items
Musical opportunities — singing, dancing, and playing marching band

Throughout the day, your child will enjoy story time with books that are right for his or her level. Books are also available for hands-on exploration.

Our program encourages independence in simple tasks, including putting on coats and shoes and washing hands. Toddlers also practice their shapes, letter recognition, and counting to 10 as our program prepares your child for the next phase of learning.
